As a former baby boutique owner & style-savvy mom of two small boys, Sarah seemed to be at the forefront of the emerging luxury baby market; the first to know of many of those baby must-haves, that you simply don’t know about unless someone around you has it or has told you about it. Many people would ask how she knew about all these great finds, and where they could get them. Eventually, Sarah was prompted by friends and family to start BabyLuxe {daily} to help new parents, parents-to-be, and gift-givers alike, discover the greatness beyond mainstream baby retailers that seemed to be popping up from coast to coast. While most parents still have a very real need for the basics at these stores, we have found it incredibly essential to have a little fun with the amazing selection of private label luxuries, and that is what we are here for; to bring you only the very best from that category. We anticipate that you will find BabyLuxe to be an essential online resource, and you’ll make us a part of your every day routine, as so many others already have!
For those of you with a little more experience, or just entering the early stages of pregnancy, we have a something for you too. We have recently launched two new weekly segments: MamaLuxe on Mondays & KidLuxe on Wednesdays. On MamaLuxe, you will find great tips on jewelry, skin care, clothing & accessories {including maternity} & more. Our KidLuxe segment will cover fun & educational toys, games & music for the 3 and up crowd, healthy nutrition, & early elementary topics of interest.

I am the proud mother of two beautiful little boys, Colin {3} and Alex {1}, and wife to my crazy & lovable husband, Michael. Though we are originally from upstate NY, we visited Charlotte, NC during our senior year of college, and pretty much never left! We are now going on 8 years here in the beautiful south!
Aside from managing and writing for BabyLuxe & taking care of my family & home, I also run a small stationery business out of my home, Paperluxe Studio. As if that isn’t enough, I work several days per week out of the home for a small corporation, in energy supply management. Needless to say, I keep very busy. But I love what I do, and I somehow find the time & energy to make it all work! Although, I can honestly say that I am thrilled to have recently acquired a fabulous business partner for BabyLuxe; my good friend Dana. Without Dana’s extensive business knowledge & support, we wouldn’t be where we are today!

As a mother of 3 young boys, I’ve done my fair share of research and shopping in the children and mommy markets and loved every minute of it! I have a passion {and weakness} for shopping for the hottest, must have, luxe items. I am extremely committed to my editorials and to the Babyluxe image. As I continue to have children and watch my family grow, I realize this is what I was made for; motherhood and the best shopping that comes along with it!
A little about myself outside my family {not much time for anything else since I do have a career thrown in there as well}, but to summarize me, I love Spring and flowers, I enjoy eating out with my husband and a good glass of wine, I’m an internet junky, a “beginner” fan of baseball {as my 6 yr has just started}, and a firm believer to the “laid back” approach to parenting!
