PopATot {GIVEAWAY}
12.06.2008
Hope you all are enjoying your Saturday! During the month of December we will be bringing you a few special Saturday features to give you more options for your holiday shopping! If you are traveling with a tot this holiday season, we have a remarkable product for you today. I LOVE what I’m about to show you!

Picture this for us the week of Christmas: at my mother-in-laws house who has hardwood floors and 3 levels of stairs, a bit unfriendly for a 2 year old and a 7 month old. Aidan sits up and tries crawling, but on hardwood floors in Central NY in winter…can you say hard and cold! And Connor needs to be barricaded at times so he’s not up and down the stairs on his not so solid footing. Along comes PopATot, a revolutionary product that actually “pops” up anywhere for you to place your “tots” in a sturdy and safe environment for them to play in. Combine the fun, up right positioning features of a walker or exersaucer with the secure, portable environment of a pack n’ play and you have the PopATot.

Wouldn’t it be so nice to not have to hold your child while you are at Aunt Betty’s house Christmas Eve or have to chase him around while not being able to enjoy your family and even get a bite to eat? {We love our kids I know, but seriously, the act up the most when they are at someone else’s house}. The PopATot would be so easy to take with you, and when I say it just pops up, it does just that. Nothing to ensemble! It comes packed in a an easy to carry bag, similar to those pop up chair bags you bring to the kids baseball and soccer games. So it’s compact and easy to travel with; with so many features as detailed above: cup holders, loops to hold toys {PopATot sells these toys on their site as well if you want to consider making this a gift set for someone}, sturdy rails, flexible and comfortable material to move with the child as they play, also a safety latch to ensure it does not collapse, and more!
I’m so excited to offer a free PopATot to one lucky BabyLuxe reader today! Comment back to us where you could use this awesome product {playgroups, the babysitter’s house, grandmas, etc…}, contest ends in one week. If you can’t wait and need to buy one now for yourself or a gift, take $10 off with an instant rebate now through the end of 2008, no code needed.

My house for sure. I also have hard woods floors and stairs that are very baby unfriendly.
December 6th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
There are lots of places that I could use this such a convenient and easily assembled child play area. My home, so I can get some work done, the Grandparents, visiting friends and neighbors, etc. Please enter me in your delightful giveaway drawing. Many thanks, Cindi
December 6th, 2008 at 1:52 pm
This is a very cool product! I am Grandma/Aunty and it would be perfect for me to keep here and to have accessible when grandkids, neices and nephews visit!
Thanks
December 6th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
Great for grandma’s house! Looks easy to transport, setup and take down….fantastic gift for any one with young ones.
December 6th, 2008 at 1:54 pm
We could definitely use this at relatives’ houses—we have lots of grandmas in town, and it would be great to have a place to sit the baby while people eat! Thanks for the contest.
December 6th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
My cousin and his wife could definitely use this… they are expecting and live in an apartment.
December 6th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
THis would stay at my house since I would love to have it when my godson visits. My house isn’t that baby friendly but this would make it perfect for him.
December 6th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
OH MY GOSH!!! This is the most amazing thing! My son just started to hate the bumbo, but I can’t just travel with an exersaucer. My Inlaws live 45 mins away, and my parents 1 1/2 hrs away in the opposite direction. They both have hard wood floors. I would actually be able to put my baby down and eat or actually carry on a conversation at family gatherings! Wow, I don’t know what I would say now! We are also going to be traveling a lot soon and I could just carry this on the plane! This invention ROCKS!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
We live about 2 hours from each set of grandparents, and the amount of gear we have to travel with is amazing! This wouldn’t take up much space and would be a great thing to have for my toddler to play safely in.
I’d love to bring it to events like local parades and outdoor picnics, too. What a great idea!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:12 pm
As a first time parent of a precious 6 month old, I didn’t think we could possibly fit one more thing in our car during our holiday travels, but this could be the must have of this holiday season! It looks like a sanity saver as she begins to get mobile.
December 6th, 2008 at 2:13 pm
Wow!! What a great product for taking to grandma’s or even the babysitter!!
I’d take it everywhere with me!!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
Definitely at Gramma’s house–there is so much a little one can get into! Such a wonderful invention. Love it!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Grandmama’s house! This would be so awesome
December 6th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
What a great product! It would be ideal for traveling to the grandparents and on vacation!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:26 pm
My niece will love this. her mom will swoon over this. She’s a working mom so she could use it in her office once in a while.
December 6th, 2008 at 2:29 pm
We would use this everywhere - relatives and our own house. It is such a great product - I would love not to have to haul the exersaucer with us to the grandparents anymore nor around my own house. It would sure save our walls not haveing to carry the exersaucer up and down the stairs. Thanks for the give away - Happy Holidays!!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
This would be great for the not kid-friendly grandparents house and for containing younger brother when we are at events for big sister, like classroom parties and such.
December 6th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
What a great item! We could use this everywhere for our new baby, mainly Grandma and Grandpa’s house (same problem with the hardwood and stairs) and when we go to our older daughter’s playgroup at an indoor rec center that is a little too open for a little one to be just free to roam. Thanks!
December 6th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
Wow! Wish they’d had products like this when my children were small! Now I’m sure my daughter would use the PopATot for my grandson anytime she goes visiting…so many homes are not kid-proofed and even a couple of steps down to the front door pose a serious hazard!

December 6th, 2008 at 3:04 pm
I would love to win for myself, for when I go to non-kid proofed homes. (mainly my friends who haven’t had kids yet or just have a baby).
Thanks so much for this impromptu and unexpected giveaway !
December 6th, 2008 at 3:28 pm
The better question is where wouldn’t I use this. It would come to work with me (like the baby does), come home with me, go to the grandparents’ houses for Sunday dinner, basically everywhere I go with my daughter. What an absolutely brilliant product.
December 6th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
I do child care, and this would be awesome! I could put it in the closet when the kids are gone!
Thanks for the giveaway!

December 6th, 2008 at 4:14 pm
This would be so PERFECT for the holidays…. gramma’s, aunt’s, home!!! I would especially love to be able to take a shower while DD played happily!!
December 6th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
Ooh! Love this! I’d use it outside, when I’m weeding so my daughter was safe. Or at the beach! LOVE This! Great find!
Mahalo! Sarah
December 6th, 2008 at 4:25 pm
Oh wow! Where to begin - definitely at the grandparents house - stairs EVERYwhere! So I can grab a shower (is that too much to ask??! lol)
So many uses! thanks!
December 6th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
Great idea to keep the baby busy! I would love to win!
December 6th, 2008 at 4:34 pm
We travel a lot and this would be wonderful! We would use it at both Grandma’s houses!
December 6th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
I would use this during visits out to family.
December 6th, 2008 at 4:49 pm
I could REALLY use this for when we visit my dad. Hardwood floors, hardwood stairs to go upstairs, cement stairs to go to the unfinished basement (cement again!) and a huge deck out back with yes…MORE stairs! We were so nervous during our summer visit, our baby spent much of the time in a backpack on our backs.
December 6th, 2008 at 5:06 pm
I could use this for travelling back and forth between the inlaws and my parents place! It’s enough trouble bringing all the clothes and diapers you’ll need without an exersaucer/highchair/bumbo along too!
This would be a perfect thing to share too, as I have a nephew slightly younger than my son, would work out great!
My parents have all hardwood, and my inlaws are all ceramic tile! Not baby friendly at all!!
Thanks!
December 6th, 2008 at 5:07 pm
This is so new and wonderful. Looks so comfy for the little one. Count me into this great drawing
December 6th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
I would use this both at my house and at Nanny’s.
Thanks!
December 6th, 2008 at 6:22 pm
wow realy neet please nter me in to this thanks
December 6th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
What a useful product. I would use it when we go to grandmas house. It’s not baby proofed much and I hate saying ‘Don’t touch that’ all the time.
December 6th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
Oh man, every family members home, outside while I’m gardening…what a great helper!
December 6th, 2008 at 6:42 pm
I would use this at both the grandparents’ houses. My parents have a lot of stairs and my husband’s parents have a lot of “stuff”.
December 6th, 2008 at 6:46 pm
Gosh, everywhere! I have a two year old and 9 month old twins, so there are more kids than hands. It would great to take to my older daughter’s preschool functions and super for the grandparents’ houses - no babyproofing there! What a great idea!
December 6th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
What a neat idea. I would use it as a baby gift for my niece or nephew due to be born any day now.
December 6th, 2008 at 8:12 pm
This would be great for grandma’s house which is 2-story and alot of steps.
December 6th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
This would be perfect for our trip to visit family for the holidays. My MIL’s house is full of breakables that are so hard to keep the baby away from!
December 6th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
I could use the PopATot at church - we are there all day on Sunday and I am constantly loosing my children LOL
December 6th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
I have 10 month old twins, going anywhere is a big pain but since only one of them sits, putting them down is even harder. This would come in really handy just about anywhere. Whenever we go away it would definately be helpful since with a double stroller, trunk space is scarce and just going to my parents it would be great!
December 6th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
What a great product!!! I can really use that at my house when the grandkids come over. Thank you!
December 6th, 2008 at 10:56 pm
oldplace.betty(at)gmail.com

December 6th, 2008 at 11:19 pm
we are relocating cross country this summer, with an extended stay with the grandparents. we’d use it all summer long all over the US!
December 7th, 2008 at 12:25 am
This would be perfect for this year Christmas at my parents house! My mother collects so many valuable things, I’m worried that my baby’s going to knock them all over and break them!!
December 7th, 2008 at 12:36 am
My baby just turned 6 months. This would be great with all the places we’ll be visiting during the holiday season.
December 7th, 2008 at 1:17 am
This was made for me!! I have a large family and we gather at my grandmothers and we don’t fit!! I would love this to keep my kidlet safe when we go there!!
December 7th, 2008 at 1:30 am
GRandmas house
December 7th, 2008 at 1:52 am
I could really really use this at my mom’s house. Hard wood floors and crawlers do not mix
December 7th, 2008 at 6:07 am
This is so creative! My best friend is expecting their first and she would definately use this, they have hard woods floors and stairs. This is just a plain lifesaver!
December 7th, 2008 at 11:23 am
what a great product! Since I am going to be a grandma in a few months I would definitely say in my house, for the time being at least. My hard wood floors and stairs won’t go away, but hoping to figure out something by then. And then during family gatherings so mom can get a brief break too. Thanks for the opportunity!
December 7th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
the in-laws would be the perfect place for this…there are stacks of things to get into everywhere!
December 7th, 2008 at 2:50 pm
This would be great in so many places. My children are 7 years apart and I usually cannot keep both occupied at the same time. We also go on long road trips with overnight stays in hotels…it would be wonderful there too.
December 7th, 2008 at 5:02 pm
We would use it at my parents’ house - it would be perfect!
December 7th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
i would use this everywhere… starting with our first trip to visit great grandma in January!
December 7th, 2008 at 6:43 pm
I definitely would use this at Grandma’s 3 story condo filled with fragile vases all over the place!!
December 7th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
the perfect gift for first time parents who have two flights of stairs in a fixer-upper that isn’t complete! safe baby will help the mom and dad get the house done!!! great find… thanks for sharing!!!!!
December 7th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
This would be great when we travel. We stay at a couple of different relatives houses which are not child proofed.
December 7th, 2008 at 11:24 pm
This is such a great find! This would work out great for travel and going to grandma’s!
December 8th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
I love this!! I could really use this at my in-laws when we visit for a week. They live in Florida so we have to deal with sandy tile all over the house!
December 8th, 2008 at 2:25 pm
This looks like the chairs we throw in the trunk for picnics or ball games. I think it could be used just like that. Anywhere you go. They need to add a grocery cart attachment.
December 8th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
This thing is awesome, it could be used anywhere, home, playground, time at the aunt and uncles house, you name it.
December 9th, 2008 at 11:36 am
What a fantastic idea! I would give this pop-a-tot to my pregnant sister in law. She’s a first time mom and lives in an apartment with her husband…this would be the perfect option for her to bring out when the baby needs it, and put it away when they’re done (because we all know apartment living and babies don’t always go hand in hand!
BTW, I live in Central NY too…near Syracuse :-).
December 9th, 2008 at 11:54 am
I’d love to be able to use this at the grandparent’s house. They have dogs and the dog hair…grosses me out. It would be so great to be able to keep the baby off the floor. Thanks so much for the giveaway!!
December 9th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
At my house since I’m the grandma, plus all the extended family gatherings. This is so cool and would be such a blessing
December 9th, 2008 at 11:42 pm
Sadly my kids are too big for this. I will never forget the fear of going to the pool with three kids and 1 of them was toddling and the other crawling. This would have been perfect. This would make a great baby gift.
December 10th, 2008 at 1:00 am
We’d so love this for GRAMMA’s house!
Thanks for this give~away! : )))
leahita[at]gmail[dot]com

December 12th, 2008 at 3:56 pm
This definitely would be useful going to both sets of grandparents’ houses!
December 13th, 2008 at 1:51 am
This would be great for taking my baby to visit all her relatives!
